So, the "retro" look is really hot this season. I did a few of these effects on Alec's senior portraits that I did last week at Black Forest Park. By the way..a great kid!

Colorado Springs High School Senior Portraits

Jonathan is going away to college to study music so it was appropriate to have his senior photos done with the instruments that he plays. One was the Cello. He just sat and started playing while we waited for his mother and I just photographed him. I like those the best.

Laura and Robert's Cheyenne Mtn. Resort Wedding

Congrats to Laura and Robert on their Colorado wedding at the Cheyenne Mtn. Resort. They were on the evening of June 30th on the Quail Terrace. LIVE Volbeat and Iced Earth!

I got to photograph Volbeat with Iced Earth a couple of weeks ago. What a great show! The only downer was that HELLYEAH had to cancel that night. There is absolutely nothing better then live music and I support those guys 100%- They work their tails off! Spending Friday The 13th With Halestorm!

I spent Friday the 13th at Halestorm. It was wicked HOT! ( Note to the Black Sheep- Invest in Air Conditioning!) The band gets better every time I see them. Colorado Springs Maternity Portraits on a Rainy Day!

A couple of days ago I photographed Cassie's maternity portraits. Now if you live in Colorado Springs you know that we were having major thunderstorms for a couple of days. Cassie called me to see what we should do about the shoot. She was due anytime to have the baby and the other important factor was her husband would be deployed again so we only had a certain window of opportunity and everyone knows babies come when they want to! We decided to take our chances and see if the rain would pass and Cassie was great about walking in the wet grass. The soft light actually makes gorgeous photos and the rain had broke for a bit while we photographed. Thank you Cassie and Seth for letting me share your first pregnancy portraits with you!

Children's Portraits in Fox Run Park

Check out these little cuties! Sometimes it takes awhile to get little ones to all smile when all they want to do is play but, it is worth it when they do! The boys were happy when they were finally allowed to play in the water and they got soaked! Childrens portraits in the park are fun for everyone.
