My Daughter The Model....

My daughter was a model for a day! A did a photo shoot for my friend Tammy who owns Weddings of the Rockies Videography. She is designing her new ads for Garden of the Gods Club and The Broadmoor. Both the kids did such a great job! They were so well behaved and I think my daughter made a new friend as she got a lollipop from her co-model at the end of the shoot :)

Congratulations to Carly and Derek!- Colorado Springs Wedding Photography

Carly and Derek were married on September 10th, 2011. How cool is that to be married on 9-10-11! They were married at the gorgeous Garden of the Gods Club. There is just no better view in Colorado Springs. We had such a gorgeous sunset. The children were playing on the lawn during the cocktail hour and all the guests were having such a great time at the reception. It is so nice to see people with so much joy. Congratulations to Peter and Erin!- Colorado Springs Wedding Photography

I hope you remember the engagement photos I posted a few months ago of Peter and Erin. They are such a terrific couple! Their wedding finally came on February 19th at the Garden of the Gods Club. We had all sorts of weather that day and though you would expect snow in February in Colorado, Erin and Peter got rain! They say it is lucky to rain on your wedding day so I think that because it is so rare in February that Peter and Erin will have an extra dose of it. Congrats you guys and thanks for including me on your wedding day!

Kari & Eric were married Monday, July 20th at The Garden of the Gods Club. It was an intimate ceremony between Kari & Eric who made this a destination wedding while they were out here for their friends wedding who got married the following day. Melissa & Paul's Garden of the God's Club Wedding!

Melissa & Paul were married August 16th at The Garden of the Gods Club. There is no other view in town like the Garden of the Gods Club. Sometimes it seems surreal. Melissa and Paul decided to see each other before the ceremony which always makes for great photography. The first time a couple sees each other when no one else is around and shares those special thoughts and feelings on their wedding day make for some of the most special photos of the day. This photo was one of those! We had a great time with Melissa and Paul who were lots of fun. We are so happy they chose us to be a part of their wedding day! Thanks guys! Congratulations to Corinne & David!

Corinne & David were married Sunday, August 3rd at the Garden of the Gods Club. They saw each other before the ceremony and it was such a beautiful and intimate moment. They both cried the second David turned around and saw Corinne for the first time in her wedding gown. They just hugged, kissed, and shared words for just the two of them. What a precious moment in time! We stood back and captured it with our telephoto lenses. There is no other way to capture such a moment then to set up a viewing before the actual wedding ceremony.

They then had a gorgeous ceremony on the lawn! We will have all of Corinne and David's photos up in a few weeks, so check back!

Shoot out!

We ran into our friend Jason from Polyscenic Photography at the Garden of the Gods Club. He was just finishing up a wedding while we were arriving for ours. Ryan & Jason had a "shoot out", blasting each other with their cameras as they passed each other by. Here is ours of him, I'm scared to see his of Ryan! HA!

Memorial Day Weekend Weddings

Yesterday, May 26th, was a busy day for us. Memorial Day Weekend is one of the most popular weekends to be married. If you are thinking about getting married on Memorial Day Weekend 2008, start looking for your venues and vendors now! We started off at The Briarhurst with Melissa & Nate and ended at the Garden of the Gods Club with Brent & Jessica.
