Winter NAMM show 2009!

Ryan and I headed out to Anaheim California for the annual NAMM convention in beautiful Anaheim California. NAMM is the largest trade show in the music industry. It is four days of everything and anything you can imagine for the music enthusiast. We were able to conduct some great interviews for Road Crew Magazine, hand out with some awesome people and meet some cool rock stars! We were so impressed be the enormity of it all and loved all of the instruments...the guitars especially. We hope to make this an annual trip because even in four days we still couldn't see it all!

Katie & Beau's Air Force Academy Cadet Chapel Wedding!

Katie & Beau were married November 29th, 2008 at The United States Air Force Academy's Cadet Chapel. The Chapel is one of the most beautiful places to photograph! Katie & Beau had their first date in the snow, their first kiss in the snow and wouldn't you know...it snowed on their wedding day also! We thought that was very romantic! Katie was bubbly and fun and Beau's face just lit up every time he looked at her. It was such a pleasure to work with them! Thank you guys for choosing us to be a part of your special day! Karen & Brian's St. Mary's Cathedral & Colorado Springs Country Club Wedding!

Karen & Brian were married on September 27th at St. Mary's Cathedral in Downtown Colorado Springs. St. Mary's is such a beautiful church to be married in and one of our favorites to photograph. Karen & Brian are from Canada so this was a complete destination wedding for them. We took complete advantage of everything Colorado had to offer. We started at the Antler's Hilton where Karen was getting ready and headed down to Judge Baldwin's for a pre-ceremony drink! I rode with the girls over in their limo. It was a lovely ceremony but, Karen and Brian were up for some fun afterwards. We played alot downtown and in the park and then went to the reception at the Colorado Springs Country Club. Just in time too! Because a strom rolled in! We loved working with Karen and Brian! They make our job the best job on the planet! You may see all of their photos here.

Carrie & Matt's St. Patrick's Church and Pinery Wedding!

Carrie & Matt were married September 20th at St. Patrick's Catholic Church. They were from Chicago however, so they wanted lots of Colorado style in their photographs. We headed over to Garden of the Gods after the ceremony and then up to the Pinery for their reception. We had a great day with them! You can see all of Carrie and Matt's photos here.

Heather & Ewen's Shove Chapel & Phantom Canyon Wedding!

Heather & Ewen were married on September 19th at Shove Chapel. It was a gorgeous Autumn afternoon. We had just a hint of rain so we brought out some umbrellas which made for great photos actually! Heather & Ewen saw each other before their ceremony and it was such a touching first veiwing of them seeing each other alone. You get the most memorable photographs that way! After doing lots of photos of the couple we did all the family and bridal party then went back to the couple utilizing all the wonderful grounds and the gorgeous interior of Shove Chapel! After a beautiful ceremony, Heather and Ewen took off in a classic Rolls Royce. We met them downtown and did even more great photos. It is so awesome to have a couple who is up for almost anything! The reception was held at Phantom Canyon which is an awesome place to have a reception. The city lights are amazing at night and the food is terrific! Ewen is from England and his brothers did a job at roasting him during the toast. It was all in great fun! We grabbed Heather and Ewen on more time before we left to get some cool night time photos. They were such a blast! Thank you both! You were a dream to work with. Their wedding was coordinated by Bella Dia Events and Christian did a wonderful job. Amanda & Scott's Cheyenne Mountain Resort Wedding!

Amanda & Scott were married on August 31st at the Cheyenne Mountain Resort. They decided to see each other before the ceremony and we did so many wonderful photos of them! We set up the first viewing of them seeing each other and it was such a special moment with tears and laughter and wonderful photographs, of course! It was a good thing we did all of the photos beforehand as a storm came in during the ceremony. The rain held out just long enough for them to say I do but, then it let loose! Amanda and Scott were great sports though. They just stared into each other's eyes and we so in love. We were so happy to be part of their wedding day. You may see all of their photos here.

Road Crew Magazine!

Well, as if Ryan and I didn't have enough on our plates, we have decided to start our own online magazine. Luckily, we have some of the most talented and dedicated journalists from all over the USA, Canada, and Europe helping us out. Road Crew Magazine is for all music lovers. We will feature interviews, reviews, news, and of course PHOTOS! Stephanie & Garrett's Briarhurst Wedding!

Stephanie & Garrett were married on August 30th, 2008 at the historic Briarhurst Manor. We love photographing at the Briarhurst because it has so many beautiful photographic opportunities! Stephanie was such a stunning bride and you could see the look of awe on Garrett's face when he saw her walk down the aisle. They had a terrific time at their reception also which was gloriously decorated. We took them off the dance floor for a little break to get some great night time shots outside with the Briarhurst all lit up. They went right back in though and the dance floor never ceased being packed with Sensational Sounds DJ Service keeping the party going! Congratulations to Katie & Beau!

Katie & Beau were married Saturday, November 29th at the United States Air Force Academy Cadet Chapel. We had a Colorado snow storm that blew in from out of no where and left us with some gorgeous scenery. Katie & Beau were a ton of fun and we were so glad they had us be a part of their celebration! Congratulations guys!

Jessica & Steve's Estes Park Wedding!

Jessica & Steve were married August 23rd in Estes Park. We have known Jessica for many years. She grew up in Black Forest, owned the coffee shop next to our old photography studio, and has baby sat my kids. She is very special to us and we were so happy she found such a wonderful man to marry. I believe most of the town of Black Forest came to Estes Park for Jessica & Steve's wedding because she is so well loved by all of us!

Her wedding was held on the side of a mountain in a beautiful meadow at a venue called Aspen Lodge. We had beautiful weather but, there wasn't a dry eye around!

After the ceremony the reception was held at Lake Shore Lodge which sits on the shore of Lake Estes. We had the best time at the reception. Jessica and Steve hired Randy Rodriguez Entertainment who always keeps the dance floor packed and there were plenty of party people at this wedding. We couldn't be happier for Jessica and Steve! Sharanta's Maternity Portraits

Sharanta received a gift certificate from one of her friends at her baby shower for a maternity shoot from us. She was very excited and brought along her husband and little girl to include in some of the portraits. Sharanta is such a stunningly beautiful woman and it was a pleasure photographing her! We love doing maternity portraits. It is such a special time in a woman's life!

Chelsey & Aaron's Lodge at Cathedral Pines Wedding!

Chelsey and Aaron were married on August 22nd at the Lodge at Cathedral Pines in Black Forest. The have this awesome waterfall with a log bridge and a pond that we utilized for photos but, we also found a field of wild sunflowers that we had to have them sit in! They were a sweet couple who were very relaxed and easy going and they made our job a joyful experience! Thank you both for letting us be a part of your day! Melissa & Paul's Garden of the God's Club Wedding!

Melissa & Paul were married August 16th at The Garden of the Gods Club. There is no other view in town like the Garden of the Gods Club. Sometimes it seems surreal. Melissa and Paul decided to see each other before the ceremony which always makes for great photography. The first time a couple sees each other when no one else is around and shares those special thoughts and feelings on their wedding day make for some of the most special photos of the day. Sarah & Dan's Shove Chapel & Sunbird Restaurant Wedding!

Sarah & Dan were married August 9th at Shove Chapel. Sarah was a spunky bride with hot pink shoes....we adored the shoes! We had a terrific wedding party that were full of antics as well and we had a blast when we stopped at a park between the chapel and the reception at The Sunbird. It started to pour rain during the reception and Sarah and Dan wanted to go outside and dance in the rain as soon as dinner was finished and we were so excited to photograph that! However the rain ceased...but we are always up for that if any of our other brides want a dance in the rain! Congrats Sarah and Dan and thanks for being so much fun to work with! Jake & Jayma's Pinery Wedding!

Jake & Jayma were married August 8th, 2008 at the Pinery in Black Forest. Jake & Jayma were a blast! We just had the best time at their wedding. It ended up being a rainy day but, we got some awesome rainy day photos outside! Jayma's dad had a wonderful toast to her and Jake and his mom had such a fun time with the mother-son dance. Stephanie & John were married Sunday, September 28th at the beautiful Briarhurst Manor! It was a perfect fall day and we spent the entire day with Stephanie and John from the time Stephanie put on her dress until the last dance. There was losts of smiles, tears, romance, and crazieness!
