Jenna and David were married on May 28th at the Air Force Academy Cadet Chapel. They followed their ceremony with a reception at the beautiful Cheyenne Mountain Resort. David just doted on his new bride and it was very sweet to witness. I loved the opportunity to finally have just the bride and groom alone to take photos on the resort grounds. Jennifer & Jacob were married this past Saturday, March 21st at the Cheyenne Mountain Resort. It was 70 degrees in March so we got to go outside for some fun photos! We had fun as always and Jennifer and Jakob were as sweet as could be. Thank you both for sharing your day with us!

Amanda & Scott's Cheyenne Mountain Resort Wedding!

Amanda & Scott were married on August 31st at the Cheyenne Mountain Resort. They decided to see each other before the ceremony and we did so many wonderful photos of them! We set up the first viewing of them seeing each other and it was such a special moment with tears and laughter and wonderful photographs, of course! It was a good thing we did all of the photos beforehand as a storm came in during the ceremony. The rain held out just long enough for them to say I do but, then it let loose! Amanda and Scott were great sports though. They just stared into each other's eyes and we so in love. We were so happy to be part of their wedding day. You may see all of their photos here.

Jamie & Mike's Shove Chapel and Cheyenne Mountain Resort Wedding

Jamie & Mike were married June 28th at Shove Chapel. They were such a joy to work with and had the greatest wedding party also! After a beautiful ceremony at Shove we headed over to the Cheyenne Mountain Resort which is always a treat. The resort staff is so great and we had one of the best DJ's and Entertainers for the reception: Randy Rodriguez Entertainment! Jamie and Mike shared a sweet first dance and we had such a wonderful time with them at the reception. Thank you guys for letting us be a part of your special day! Lemor and Alan were also married Saturday June 7th! Yes, it was the most popular day of the year to be married: 06-07-08! Every once in awhile we do two weddings a day, this is the only day this year we did. Lemor & Alan had an evening ceremony at the Cheyenne Mountain Resort. Jamie & Mike's Engagement Portraits

Jamie & Mike came up this week to do their engagement portraits. We went down to Black Forest Regional Park and had some fun picking dandelion "puffs," making wishes before blowing them in the wind! Jamie & Mike will be getting married June 28th at Shove Chapel followed by a reception at The Cheyenne Mountain Resort. We can't wait!

Lemor & Alan's Engagement Portraits

We photographed Lemor & Alan last week for their engagment portraits. We went to Black Forest Regional Park and did some nice outdoor pictures. Lemor & Alan will be getting married next month at the Cheyenne Mountain Resort and we can't wait! Lemor is one of the sweetest brides we have this season and is such a pleasure to work with. Erin & Toby's St. Patrick's, Cheyenne Mtn. Resort Wedding

Erin & Toby were married on September 15th at St. Patrick's Catholic Church with a reception at The Cheyenne Mountain Resort. Toby is a Fireman and they were swooped away after the ceremony in a fire truck! Thanks so much to the Falcon Fire Station! It was a gorgeous September day and we had a blast at the reception! Tina & Ryan's Cheyenne Mountain Resort Wedding

Tina & Ryan were married September 2nd at The Cheyenne Mountain Resort. As you will see from their photos their love just showed on their faces all day. They decided to see each other before the ceremony and those are the most precious photos of all. You just can't get that any other way. The intimacy, the looks, the caresses, the smiles, the tears, WOW! Well, you will see when you click here. The photo below was taken during the reception. We had lots of flower petals left over from the ceremony so Ryan and I thought it would be fun if the wedding party threw them over the couple during their first dance. Again, an amazing photo. Erin & Toby's Wedding

We photographed great couple this past weekend. Erin & Toby were married at

St. Patrick's Catholic Church followed by a ceremony at The Cheyenne Mountain Resort. Toby is a firefighter and they were swept away by a fire truck after the ceremony! We will have all of Erin & Toby's photos up in the next few weeks so check back!

I just finished Emily & Greg's wedding album layout. They chose an Art Leather Cache album. Emily & Greg were married last December at the First Presbyterian Church with a reception at the Cheyenne Mountain Resort. The wedding was during one of our biggest snow storms last winter! Available Light with Emily & Greg

Natural and available light is one of the most beautiful lighting situations you can have. It is also one of the hardest for many photographers to master. We always look for sources of natural light and other light sources besides our flashes to play with. These are two from Emily and Greg's wedding ( Congratulations you guys!) They were married December 28th at First Presbyterian Church with a reception at The Cheyenne Mountain Resort. You may see all or their photos here. Make sure to check out the ones outside the church using the street lamp as our only source of light!
