Randy's Little Girl

We photographed our friend Randy from Randy Rodriguez Entertainment and his little girl. What a little sweetheart! She is just beautiful and so loving. How much more can you ask for?

Family Portraits

We photographed the Udall family at their home in Black Forest last week. The best family portraits are done when they wear solid colors that coordinate. The Udall's chose black which looks good on everyone. They were a wonderful family to work with. Thanks guys!

Colorado Springs High School Seniors

I just wanted to put a quick post about "effects" This is very popular with high school seniors. Here is an example of two recent ones we did. We did selective color on the guitar photo. The one of the car we faded the background of just the car grill and overlayed the photo. Notice we also created bolts to give the effect of the photo being bolted on. We can customize any photo and all prints ordered from us are completely retouched. Check out the before and afters!!

Corey & Katie's Engagement Photos

We photographed Corey & Katie last week. Corey works for Sensational Sounds DJ Service and he is awesome. We love working with Corey! He finally brought in his lovely fiance', Katie. We have heard so much about her! She is just a sweetheart! He also brought his son along for some family photos. We had a blast. They will be getting married next year in Hawaii. Lucky them! We love beach weddings! How romantic! Congratulations you guys!

Alison & Mark's Briarhurst Wedding

Alison & Mark were married June 30th at the Briarhurst Manor. It was a beautiful morning wedding. They decided to see each other before the ceremony. This is an awesome idea for couples! Pinecreek High School Seniors

We photographed Wes this week. Wes is a senior at Pinecreek High School. We have photographed Wes's two older brothers when they were seniors. Wes's girlfriend came along for the shoot. He had the biggest smile when she put her arms around him!

Our August 10th and 11th Weddings

We had two weddings this past Friday and Saturday. We started with Kristin & Jonathan at Shove Chapel on Friday. What a sweet couple! Saturday we photographed Christine & Danny in Green Mountain Falls. What a fun wedding! We will have all of our couple's photos up in the next few weeks, so check back!

Chelsea & Shawn's Briarhurst Wedding

Chelsea & Shawn were married on June 29th. They had an evening wedding at the Briarhurst Manor Conservatory. They booked us a year out which is a good idea for summer weddings! They also decided to see each other before the ceremony, having a romantic moment together. This also left nothing to do but, party after the ceremony! Another Double Wedding Weekend

We photographed Erin and Josh's wedding and Janet and Seaton's wedding this weekend. They were both alot of fun! The weather was perfect for photographs. It did rain during Janet & Seaton's wedding but, they were still in great spirits and we got great photos! We will have all of our couple's photos up soon.

Something Personal

Most of our posts are of our business. However, I recently finished a book that really touched me. A Thousand Splendid Suns by Khaled Hosseini. I really wanted to read this book to learn more about the middle eastern culture. I think Americans have a very narrow view of other cultures, especially the middle east. I love to be educated! I cannot recommend this book enough. The history of Afghanistan is told through a beautiful and tragic story of two women's lives. These people have the same hopes and aspirations that all people do. Unfortunately, their lives have been terrorized by one tyrant after another. I am glad they are on their way to recovery but, what a long road it is. You can visit Khaled Hosseini's website to find out ways to help the Afghan people. They were and still are victims of terrorists as we are. - Becky

Our July 14th Wedding

One word: WOW! Our bride, Rachael, was amazing! Amazing personality along with amazing looks. Rachael and Chad were married at the Broadmoor Community Church. Our 7-7-07 Wedding

We photographed Sarah & Jonathan's wedding on what some say is the luckiest day in history. It has also been one of the most popular days to get married. Sarah was on the ball though, she booked us a year and a half out from her wedding knowing how soon everyone would book up. Here is a photo of my lovely bride on her horse. Congratulations guys! Double Briarhurst Manor Weddings

We were at the Briarhurst Friday June 29th and Saturday June 30th with two great couples. We photographed Chelsea & Shawn's weddings on Friday and Alison and Mark's weddings on Saturday. We love the Briarhurst. There are so many wonderful places to take photos and the staff and food are awesome.

Congratulations Jennifer & Geremy!

We photographed Jennifer & Geremy's wedding on June 1st at The Cliff House. All the flowers were in bloom which made for awesome photos. Everyone was so nice and we had a great time with them. Black Forest Light Show

Wow!! We had a storm last night out in the forest. The good news was that we finally got some much needed rain (dry conditions make people living in the woods pretty nervous!!). The cool part about it was the light show. Lightning can be pretty tough to capture, but I got lucky. This shot was taken from the little balcony that comes off of the loft in our studio.
