SOOOO... I got to go out and enjoy Randy Rodriguez Entertainment's 10th anniversary celebration on Friday night at the Cheyenne Mountain Resort! Sharanta's Maternity Portraits

Sharanta received a gift certificate from one of her friends at her baby shower for a maternity shoot from us. She was very excited and brought along her husband and little girl to include in some of the portraits. Sharanta is such a stunningly beautiful woman and it was a pleasure photographing her! We love doing maternity portraits. It is such a special time in a woman's life!

Baby Portraits!

Check out this little angel! Isn't she adorable! She is the newest addition to one of our lovely wedding couples, Thomas and Hollie. Thomas & Hollie have moved to Texas since their wedding but, when they came back for a visit they brought in their beautiful daughter for photos. We are so happy to keep in contact with our clients and watch their family grow. It is such an honor! Thank you!

Kara & Shane's Maternity Portrait Session

We were so excited to see Kara & Shane again! We photographed their wedding and when Kara contacted us and told us they were pregnant, we were just thrilled! Thank Heaven for Little Girls

I have been experimenting with collages and have actually been selling alot of them! These are two that I actually made for our friends. One is of Randy and his sweet baby girl. Randy is an awesome entertainer who owns Randy Rodriguez Entertainment. The other is Bobby & Christy of Sensational Sounds little girl. They actually came in for maternity photos but, Taylin stole the show playing peek-a-boo with the background. I love my rough and tumble little boys but, I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a little girl one day! If not, thats ok, we get to photograph so many little sweethearts.

Halloween Party Pics

First, let me apologize because we are so behind on the blog. We have weddings, engagement sessions, children, families, and maternity shoots I have not posted yet. However, I knew if I waited on the Halloween party photos, they would not show up until Thanksgiving. So here you go. We threw a big Halloween bash at the studio. One because I love Halloween. Not fall festival, HALLOWEEN! We celebrated Halloween when I was a kid at school and church ( and it was called Halloween) and no one was bringing guns to school shooting up half their classmates and teachers then! But, I will save that rant for another time. This is about photos. We also wanted to celebrate our winning the 1st place award for the best photographer in Colorado Springs by the Independent Newspaper. Yvonne from the Indy came to the party and brought our plaque and stayed and partied with us awhile. She is bringing her darling little grand daughter in for photos next week so we will be sure to post those soon too. We had a great time with friends, family, other wedding associates, and our clients who, of course make this all possible. Here are some photos of the fantastic night we had. Hey, if we win next year, we might make this a tradition! Even if we don't we still might make it a tradition! It was just so much fun!

We Won The GOLD!!!!

We were very excited to pick up The Colorado Springs Independent today to see which place we took in the photographer category and see that it was GOLD! We are very humbled and thankful to everyone who voted for us. We really appreciate it! Congrats to Sean Cayton of Cayton Photography who received Silver and Shikai Photography who received Bronze. Above is the ad that we will have in next weeks issue of the Indy. YIPPEEEEE!!!!

Colorado Springs Maternity Portraits

We have done quite a few maternity portraits lately. We have not finished editing them all but, here are two of our lovely mommies. We created collages for both of them. The one of Shannon with her husband's photo in uniform in the foreground with her and her daughter in the background is the most touching to me.

WE WON!

We just got a call from the Colorado Springs Independent News Paper to tell us that we won their best of Colorado Springs photographer category! They could not tell us yet if it was bronze, silver, or gold but, WOW what an honor! We will find out when the paper comes out on October 18th and 25th. We are just thrilled! YIPPEE!!

Our July 14th Wedding

One word: WOW! Our bride, Rachael, was amazing! Amazing personality along with amazing looks. Rachael and Chad were married at the Broadmoor Community Church. They will be having a large reception back in Kentucky so we had lots of time to just have fun! We will have all of their photos up soon. Thanks guys!

Congratulations Stephanie & Danny! We photographed our fun couple on May 12th at the Marriott. We met them at Stephanie's sister, Kristi's wedding last September.
