Tracy & Bob's Maternity Portraits

Tracy and Bob are a wonderful couple that we had the pleasure of photographing their wedding in 2008. I was thrilled to get a call from them to tell me that they were expecting a little boy and wanted to get some maternity portraits done. Tracy and Bob got married outside among some towering aspen trees and I loved that we found some aspens to photograph them in for their maternity photos also. Congratulations to this beautiful couple on their new baby!

Carly and Derek were married on September 10th, 2011. How cool is that to be married on 9-10-11! They were married at the gorgeous Garden of the Gods Club. There is just no better view in Colorado Springs. We had such a gorgeous sunset. The children were playing on the lawn during the cocktail hour and all the guests were having such a great time at the reception. It is so nice to see people with so much joy. Michelle and Chris were married September 3, 2011 at The Briarhurst Manor. They had so much love for one another and it reflected so well in their photos. Kija and David were married at the beautiful Briarhurst Manor in Manitou Springs on August 20th. They had a Hawaiian theme for their wedding and Kija found the perfect dress! I recently had the pleasure of photographing Kristin and Kyle's engagement portraits. I really love doing engagement portraits. The couple are often so relaxed and enjoyinging themselves. They are also full of anticipation of their upcoming wedding!

We hiked into a canyon that Kristin and Kyle like to frequently go and where Kyle actually proposed to Kristin. It was quite beautiful with many photographic opportunities. It was a wonderful afternoon and I look forward to their wedding at the Briarhurst in October.

I hope you remember the engagement photos I posted a few months ago of Peter and Erin. They are such a terrific couple! Their wedding finally came on February 19th at the Garden of the Gods Club. We had all sorts of weather that day and though you would expect snow in February in Colorado, Erin and Peter got rain! They say it is lucky to rain on your wedding day so I think that because it is so rare in February that Peter and Erin will have an extra dose of it.
