Colorado Springs Maternity Portraits on a Rainy Day!

A couple of days ago I photographed Cassie's maternity portraits. Now if you live in Colorado Springs you know that we were having major thunderstorms for a couple of days. Cassie called me to see what we should do about the shoot. She was due anytime to have the baby and the other important factor was her husband would be deployed again so we only had a certain window of opportunity and everyone knows babies come when they want to! We decided to take our chances and see if the rain would pass and Cassie was great about walking in the wet grass. The soft light actually makes gorgeous photos and the rain had broke for a bit while we photographed. Thank you Cassie and Seth for letting me share your first pregnancy portraits with you!

Precious Baby Boys- Colorado Springs Baby Portraits

It was such a pleasure to photography Amanda and her new baby boy. Her family was there for the photo shoot as well and what made it extra special was her grandmother. There is a one hundred year difference between great-grandson and his great-grandmother and their birthdays are only two weeks apart. These are such special memories and the photographs captured are so precious. I want to thank Amanda for letting me capture those memories for her and spend time with her great family!- Becky

Sweet Baby Girls...- Colorado Springs Baby Portraits

I love photographing newborns. Little Sophia was a month old when Brian and Christina called to have her photographed. Those first few weeks just fly by! It's hard to tell that to moms and dads who aren't sleeping though! It was so wonderful to hear from Brian and Christina because we had photographed their wedding in last February and I was so excited for them. Baby's I year Portraits!

Kara and Shane have been our clients since their wedding. They were one of our funnest couples who were very down to earth and great to work with. They came back when Kara found out she was pregnant and had their maternity portraits done. Now we have been following their son as he grows. They just brought him in for his 1 year portraits. He is just like them. Fun loving and easy going. This is the best thing about being a photographer, knowing you are capturing peoples memories that they will treasure for a lifetime...Thank you as always Kara and Shane for sharing your family with us!

Andrea's Bundle of Joy!

Andrea & Lee were married in May of 2006. They had a perfect wedding and were a joy to photography. When Andrea found out she was pregnant she came in for maternity portraits...which we adore! Meghan's Maternity Portrait's and new baby portraits!

Meghan came to see us for those special portraits...maternity portraits. As we always say, we love photographing woman during their pregnancy. They are just so stunning and it is such a miraculous time! Meghan was absolutely beautiful and she brought along her son to be in some of the photos with her to welcome his new sister! Growing Families!

In our 10 years in business we have had the opportunity to see many of our clients families grow. Lisa and Matt were one of our amazing wedding couples who have since had a beautiful little girl. This is the second time they have brought in their little girl for portraits and now she is just beginning to walk! We took her to the park where she had fun picking flowers and telling us all about everything she saw. Thank you Lisa and Matt for continuing to share your life with us!

Baby Portraits!

Check out this little angel! Isn't she adorable! She is the newest addition to one of our lovely wedding couples, Thomas and Hollie. Thomas & Hollie have moved to Texas since their wedding but, when they came back for a visit they brought in their beautiful daughter for photos. We photographed Kristi's maternity shoot awhile back. She finally brought her daughter in for some photos! Maternity & Newborn Portraits

We are lucky to be part of Sarah & Jonathan's life. We have photographed their wedding and Sarah returned for her maternity portraits. Soon there after, the whole family retuned for pictures with the little guy. Jonathan is heading off to Iraq for 15 months. His little boy is going to grow so much in that time. We wanted to capture how small he was, so we had Jonathan cradle the baby's head in his hands. What a blessing it is to preserve such prescious moments in people's lives.

Thank Heaven for Little Girls

I have been experimenting with collages and have actually been selling alot of them! These are two that I actually made for our friends. One is of Randy and his sweet baby girl. Randy is an awesome entertainer who owns Randy Rodriguez Entertainment. The other is Bobby & Christy of Sensational Sounds little girl. They actually came in for maternity photos but, Taylin stole the show playing peek-a-boo with the background. I love my rough and tumble little boys but, I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a little girl one day! If not, thats ok, we get to photograph so many little sweethearts.

Tis' The Season For Family Portraits

Its the time of year for family portraits. Its a great time for them because family get together for Thankgiving and people love to give portraits for holiday gifts. Grandparents especially love portraits of the grandkids or so ours tell us every year! Here is a gorgeous family we photographed last week. Working with little ones is always fun! Their ideas of what to do in portraits are always different then ours ( and mom and dad's!) Sometimes we bribe them with cookies (as seen above) But, sometimes sitting still and smiling for the camera is just not fun anymore and babies let us know this loud and clear! We did manage to get lots of cute photos but, we like to save the funny ones too! Enjoy!
