I got to photograph a family with two sweet little girls this weekend. The best part is I got two sweet little girl hugs afterwards to which their mom said: "you're very lucky because they never give those out!" :)

A Sweet Note From A High School Senior Client

I am happy when my client's are happy. It makes me smile to open my email and find a sweet email froma client. I just wanted to share:  "It has been a  pleasure working with you, and I will definitely call you again when my second daughter graduates in 2014!

I'm so looking forward to it! Seniors are so much fun to photograph and one of my favorites by far! Thank you so much!!!

Precious Baby Boys- Colorado Springs Baby Portraits

It was such a pleasure to photography Amanda and her new baby boy. Her family was there for the photo shoot as well and what made it extra special was her grandmother. There is a one hundred year difference between great-grandson and his great-grandmother and their birthdays are only two weeks apart. Spring Time Weddings In The Rockies- Colorado Springs Wedding Photographers

So, you have always dreamed of a Spring wedding in Colorado. Colorado in Spring can have it's challenges. It can be 75 degrees and sunny or we can be in the middle of a heavy snowstorm. So, planning your spring time wedding you should be prepared for either weather situation. One way is to find a venue that would accommodate your wedding outside if you are dreaming of an outdoor affair but, be able to move you indoors if the weather decides not to cooperate. As far as your attire, make sure you have a wrap for your dress and your bridesmaids as well.

Decorating for your Spring fling just takes your imagination. Spring is all about new beginnings and what a better time to start your new life together. It is when flowers begin to bloom again and favorites are daffodils, peonies, lilacs, and tulips. Favorite color themes are pink, lavender, and yellow. Congratulations to Rhonda & Mitch! Colorado Winter Wedding

Rhonda & Mitch were married December 30th at The Lodge at Cathedral Pines. It was a winter day that turned out to be almost sixty degrees! Luckily we still had snow on the ground so it was the best of both worlds. We were able to keep warm for photos outside but, still had pretty winter snow. Rhonda's children sang during the ceremony which was very touching and the reception had a packed dancing floor! Thanks Complete Music for creating a great party! Sweet Baby Girls...- Colorado Springs Baby Portraits

I love photographing newborns. Little Sophia was a month old when Brian and Christina called to have her photographed. Those first few weeks just fly by! It's hard to tell that to moms and dads who aren't sleeping though! It was so wonderful to hear from Brian and Christina because we had photographed their wedding in last February and I was so excited for them. Congratulations to Meghan and Ben!

Meghan and Ben were married on 11-11-11! However, we did some fun, intimate photos of them at Garden of the Gods a few days before. It was a beautiful Colorado day but, a bit chilly for these guys as they had eloped here from Florida! It was quite an adventure for them. Meg even dug out of the snow in her wedding dress! Kristin and Kyle were married October 8th at the Briarhurst Manor. It was a crisp fall wedding that I thought was going to be a winter wonderland! The day started out snowing but, the day cleared to show off spectacular fall colors! Kristin had a gorgeous cape that she wore when it got cooler later in the evening. I love photographing in the fall. It makes for such a nice backdrop. It was a sweet, intimate wedding and I was so happy to be a part of it.
