Vacation!

We just returned from a trip to California. We stayed at the historic Hotel Del Coronado. It is such a unique place if you ever get the chance to go there and is reportedly haunted, which I believe! I heard some pretty strange noises at night! You can read about its history and the ghost of Kate Morgan here. We got the chance to go to Disneyland, San Diego Zoo and Sea World. While my favorite was Disney, my boys and Ryan love the beach. Now its on to Wedding Season!

Baby Portraits!

These are two of our favorites from a photo shoot we did with Lisa and her baby. Lisa used to work in the wedding business and we were thrilled she wanted us to photograph her little one! What a beautiful smile he has!

Being parents ourselves, we know how quickly our children grow up. It is so important to take lots of photos of them because they change so much. These are brothers that came in for thier portraits. You can tell by the photos how different their personalities are! How wonderful it is to capture that!

Maternity photos are one of our favorites to shoot! It is such a beautiful time in a woman's life. I'm getting teary eyed just thinking about my pregnancies! Lori and Kurt were such a wonderful couple. This will be their first child. Lori brought this amazing scarf. She is just stunning!

Growing up tooooo fast!

Ok, life is passing by too quick! It seems like we just did Kristin and Jonathan's senior portraits! But, in reality it was four years ago! We did photos of them seperately and together back then and now they are getting married in August! We just got done with their engagement portraits and we are so honored they came back to us for their wedding. We love having life long relationships with our clients!

Casey & Donnie's Candid Moments

Here are two of my favorite photos from Casey & Donnie's wedding. It made me smile when I saw Donnie kissing Casey's hands after their ceremony while they were waiting to enter ther reception. I was so glad to be at the right place at the right time to see and capture such an intimate moment. The one of the little girls is a classic! I love kids! Always keep your eyes on them at weddings, they make some great candid moments! Oh, and Casey's new married name is Casey Casey or as she says Casey squared!

Available Light with Emily & Greg

Natural and available light is one of the most beautiful lighting situations you can have. It is also one of the hardest for many photographers to master. We always look for sources of natural light and other light sources besides our flashes to play with. These are two from Emily and Greg's wedding ( Congratulations you guys!) They were married December 28th at First Presbyterian Church with a reception at The Cheyenne Mountain Resort. You may see all or their photos here. Make sure to check out the ones outside the church using the street lamp as our only source of light!

A West Side Love Story

Last weekend's " A West Side Love Story" was a hit! We received many comments on how elegant it was and how nice it was to see the venues decorated. Everyone can't wait to do it again! Here are some shots we took at the Cliffhouse.

Erin and Mike's Wedding

Erin and Mike were married at the Cliffhouse on December 23rd. They had Jean-Marie Designs decorate the whole ballroom in flowers and candles. It was stunning! Especially the 200 rose ball with mistle toe hanging from it! These are a couple of my favorites. I love how much fun the girls were having before Erin walked down the aisle! Candid photos are the best!

Congratulations Teryn & Mo

Teryn & Mo were married at the United States Air Force Cadet Chapel. It was right after our first big blizzard in December. Mo is currently serving in Iraq. Thank you for your service Mo! We are honored to have captured your wedding memories for you!
