Colorado Springs Maternity Portraits on a Rainy Day!

A couple of days ago I photographed Cassie's maternity portraits. Now if you live in Colorado Springs you know that we were having major thunderstorms for a couple of days. Cassie called me to see what we should do about the shoot. She was due anytime to have the baby and the other important factor was her husband would be deployed again so we only had a certain window of opportunity and everyone knows babies come when they want to! We decided to take our chances and see if the rain would pass and Cassie was great about walking in the wet grass. The soft light actually makes gorgeous photos and the rain had broke for a bit while we photographed. Thank you Cassie and Seth for letting me share your first pregnancy portraits with you!

Children's Portraits in Fox Run Park

Check out these little cuties! Sometimes it takes awhile to get little ones to all smile when all they want to do is play but, it is worth it when they do! The boys were happy when they were finally allowed to play in the water and they got soaked! Childrens portraits in the park are fun for everyone.

"Sting In The Tail" Tour

Last Tuesday I photographed the Scorpions with Tesla for the Scorpions final "Sting In The Tail" tour ( so they say- the tour before this was also their last tour) Just in case though, I had to go, and because it is THE SCORPS! Family Photos in the Park

On Sunday I photographed a beautiful family whose little boy just celebrated his first birthday! That is always a milestone in life. He had a pretty big sister who smiled so pretty for her mom and dad. They were a real treat! Natural and relaxed photos are much more what I think a family portrait should portray. I got to photograph Leticia and her lovely family yesterday. They were such good sports because it was freezing! We did have great light for some wonderful portraits though so I am glad they stuck through it and also happy we got her maternity photos done before her little one arrives!

A Sweet Note From A High School Senior Client

I am happy when my client's are happy. It makes me smile to open my email and find a sweet email froma client. I just wanted to share:  "It has been a  pleasure working with you, and I will definitely call you again when my second daughter graduates in 2014!

Precious Baby Boys- Colorado Springs Baby Portraits

It was such a pleasure to photography Amanda and her new baby boy. Her family was there for the photo shoot as well and what made it extra special was her grandmother. There is a one hundred year difference between great-grandson and his great-grandmother and their birthdays are only two weeks apart. These are such special memories and the photographs captured are so precious. I want to thank Amanda for letting me capture those memories for her and spend time with her great family!- Becky
